Vietnam's eVisa now covers citizens of over 80 countries, and the country's visa on arrival letter system remains a popular option for others. Knowing exactly which entry method applies to each nationality and how to navigate the eVisa portal correctly is a skill that benefits every travel and immigration consultancy.     Module 1: Vietnam eVisa, Visa on Arrival and Visa Exempt Entry Three Systems Explained Vietnam eVisa for eligible nationalities through the official evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn portal (90 day single or multiple entry), visa on arrival letter from a Vietnamese travel agent for nationalities not yet covered by the eVisa system, visa exempt entry for select nationalities under bilateral agreements (typically 14 to 45 days), and a nationality by nationality breakdown covering the most common applicant profiles for travel consultancies.

    Module 2: eVisa Application and Required Information Official Vietnam eVisa portal step by step, required information covering passport details, entry and exit dates, entry checkpoint selection (very important not all airports and borders accept eVisa), photograph and passport scan upload, fee payment, processing timeline of 3 business days, eVisa approval letter and how to present it at Vietnamese immigration, and the difference between a single entry and multiple entry eVisa.

    Module 3: Arrival at Vietnamese Airports, Stay Conditions and Practical Guidance Immigration clearance at Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), Da Nang, and other entry points, duration of stay as stated on the eVisa versus what the immigration officer stamps, extension of stay through a local visa agent, activities not permitted on a tourist entry, exiting to Cambodia, Laos, or China and returning on the same visa, and practical tips for advising clients planning a multi week Vietnam itinerary.
