Whether your client is a nurse, an engineer, a chef, or a software developer, New Zealand has a clear and accessible pathway from job offer to residence. This course teaches you how the AEWV works, what both the employer and the worker need to do, and how a work visa converts into a residence pathway.

  Module 1: New Zealand Labour Market and the AEWV Framework New Zealand's Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) replacing the old Essential Skills Visa, how the employer accreditation system works, ANZSCO skill level requirements, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) as the governing authority, approved job check process, and median wage threshold requirements.
  
  Module 2: Employer Accreditation and Job Check Employer accreditation process through INZ (standard vs high volume accreditation), job advertisement requirements before hiring internationally, job check approval as a prerequisite for the worker's visa application, employer obligations once accredited, and how long accreditation lasts.
  
  Module 3: Worker Visa Application and Documentation AEWV application by the worker through INZ online portal, required documents (job check approval code, offer of employment, passport, evidence of qualifications and experience, health and police clearance for longer visas), processing timelines, and visa conditions.
  
  Module 4: Arrival, Work Rights and Residence Pathway Arrival, work start conditions, the AEWV pathway to residence via the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) or other pathways, minimum months of employment required before residence application, family members included under AEWV, and the Green List explained for priority occupations.
