What You'll Learn?

  Module 1: Spain Long Term Residency Framework and Qualifying Conditions Long Duration Residence Authorisation (Larga Duración) under Spanish immigration law, 5 year continuous legal residence requirement, which residence periods count, which do not (tourist visa stays), EU Long Term Resident Permit available as an alternative after 5 years, and the Secretaría de Estado de Migraciones as the governing authority.
  
  Module 2: Application Process and Required Documents Application through the competent immigration authority, required documents (current and historical residence cards, proof of 5 years of continuous legal residence, economic sufficiency income meeting 400 percent of IPREM as a reference, clean criminal record in Spain and home country, health insurance, passport), integration requirement, and processing timelines.
  
  Module 3: Integration Test and Spanish Language Requirement Spain's CCSE (Conocimientos Constitucionales y Socioculturales de España) civic knowledge test required for long term residency applicants, Spanish language requirement (A2 level minimum), approved DELE test providers in Spain and abroad, exemptions for nationals of Spanish speaking countries, and preparation guidance.
  
  Module 4: Pathway to Spanish Citizenship Spanish citizenship by naturalisation after 10 years of legal residence (2 years for nationals of Ibero American countries, the Philippines, Andorra, Equatorial Guinea, and Sephardic Jews), language test (DELE A2 or higher), cultural knowledge test (CCSE), interview at the Civil Registry, dual citizenship — Spain allows it for nationals of Ibero American countries but generally requires renunciation for others, and the Spanish passport as a gateway to EU citizenship rights globally.
