Course Description

  Module 1: Sri Lanka ETA System and Eligibility Sri Lanka's Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system managed through the Department of Immigration and Emigration, eligible nationalities for ETA (most nationalities, over 180 countries), 30 day initial stay extendable to 6 months, ETA categories (tourist versus business), nationalities that are visa exempt (South Asian countries under SAARC), and nationalities that must apply through an embassy or consulate.
  
  Module 2: ETA Application Process Official Sri Lanka ETA portal (eta.gov.lk) application, required information (passport details, travel dates, accommodation address, purpose of visit, return flight details), fee payment (approximately USD 20 for tourist ETA), processing time (typically instant to 24 hours), ETA approval email and how to present it at the Sri Lankan border, and common errors in ETA applications that cause rejection.
  
  Module 3: Entry, ETA Extension and Travel Circuit Immigration clearance at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo or Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, ETA validity and entry conditions, extension of stay at the Department of Immigration in Colombo (up to 6 months total), activities not permitted on a tourist ETA (working for a Sri Lankan employer), and practical advice for clients combining Sri Lanka with the Maldives or South India in the same trip.
