Course Description

Japan introduced its Digital Nomad Visa in 2024, offering a 6-month stay for high-income remote workers earning at least JPY 10 million (approx. USD 65,000) annually from foreign sources. The Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa available in Tier 1 and Tier 2 offers a structured employment pathway for foreign workers in 12 specified sectors including hospitality, agriculture, construction, and nursing care. Both visas reflect Japan's significant immigration policy shift in response to labour shortages.
