Course Description

Canada's visitor visa officially the Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is one of the most applied for and most refused visas in the world. The refusal rate for applicants from certain countries consistently runs above 50 percent. This course teaches you why so many applications fail, what a genuinely strong application looks like, and how to build the kind of financial and personal evidence profile that IRCC officers find convincing. Whether it is tourism, a family visit, or attending a wedding, this course gives you total confidence in handling Canadian visitor visa cases.

What You'll Learn?
  • Modules
Module 1: Canada TRV vs ETA Understanding the Two Entry Systems Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for visa required nationalities, Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for visa exempt nationalities travelling by air, which nationalities require a TRV versus ETA, multiple entry TRV (up to 10 years or one month before passport expiry), conditions of entry, and the maximum stay (typically 6 months as determined by CBSA officer).

Module 2: Financial Evidence and Proof of Ties Why Canada's refusal rate is so high and what IRCC is actually assessing, demonstrating financial sufficiency (no fixed minimum but assessors look for realistic trip budget coverage), proof of strong ties to home country (property, employment, dependants, business), letter of invitation from a Canadian host, bank statement standards, and how IRCC assesses genuine temporary resident intent (Section 179(b) of IRPA).

Module 3: Online Application Through IRCC Portal IRCC online portal application for TRV, required documents (passport, digital photo, financial proof, invitation letter if applicable, employment or business letter, purpose of visit explanation), biometric enrollment requirement (for most nationalities), processing timelines by country (ranging from days to several months), and application status tracking.
