Course Description
Kenya’s Student’s Pass is an immigration authorisation for foreign nationals accepted by approved educational or training institutions to pursue education in Kenya. The process involves institutional sponsorship, academic admission, financial or sponsor evidence and supporting immigration documentation. This training provides immigration professionals with practical knowledge of student eligibility, institutional requirements, Form 30, sponsor documentation, financial evidence, police clearance and the eFNS application process. The course is designed for immigration consultants, education advisers, student counsellors, visa filing professionals and caseworkers handling Kenya education immigration cases. Applications are submitted through the government’s eFNS platform. The applicant creates or accesses the required account, selects the Student Pass application, submits the required information and documents, and tracks the application online. After approval, the applicable payment and completion stages are followed according to the immigration instructions.
A Student’s Pass does not by itself authorise the holder to engage in employment, business or trade. Students must comply with the conditions of their pass and obtain the appropriate immigration authorisation where required. The course trains professionals to distinguish lawful student activity from separate work or business immigration permissions.
