Canada’s Express Entry system manages applications for economic immigration programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). FSWP is designed for skilled workers with qualifying Canadian or foreign work experience who seek permanent residence. This training covers FSWP eligibility, NOC and TEER assessment, language testing, education and ECA, selection factors, CRS, Express Entry profiles, invitation rounds, proof of funds and post-ITA documentation. The course is designed for immigration consultants, visa professionals, recruitment specialists and caseworkers handling Canadian skilled immigration files. Through World Visa Academy’s structured training, learners develop practical skills to assess candidate profiles, calculate eligibility factors, prepare Express Entry cases and manage documentation professionally without guaranteeing an invitation or permanent residence.
A structured path from fundamentals to real application
Understand Express Entry and the Federal Skilled Worker Program, including FSW minimum requirements, TEER 0–3 skilled work, qualifying experience, education, language testing, admissibility and the requirement to plan to live outside Quebec.

Master NOC selection and duty matching, including lead statements and main duties. Learn to assess paid skilled experience, employment evidence, foreign education and Educational Credential Assessment requirements while identifying inconsistencies that can affect eligibility.
Learn how approved English or French language results affect FSW eligibility and CRS ranking. Understand core factors, skill transferability, Canadian experience, spouse factors and additional CRS components, including the current treatment of job-offer points.
Understand profile creation, pool entry, CRS ranking, invitation rounds, category-based selection and provincial nomination interaction. Learn how to review candidate data, maintain an accurate profile and prepare the case for an Invitation to Apply without predicting an invitation.
Develop practical skills for document checklists, proof of funds, police certificates, medical requirements, work reference letters, application consistency and post-ITA submission. Learn refusal-risk identification and professional client communication without guaranteeing permanent residence.
The course covers Federal Skilled Worker eligibility, NOC and TEER assessment, language testing, education and ECA, selection factors, CRS, Express Entry profiles, invitation rounds and post-ITA documentation. World Visa Academy focuses on practical case assessment so professionals can structure Canadian skilled immigration files accurately.
Applicants generally need qualifying skilled work experience in an eligible TEER category, approved language results, education and sufficient settlement funds where required. They must also meet the FSW selection criteria and admissibility requirements. The program has a separate selection-factor assessment before a candidate can enter the Express Entry pool.
Documents can include language test results, Educational Credential Assessment reports for applicable foreign education, passports, employment reference letters, proof of work experience, police certificates, proof of funds and civil-status documents. Additional documents may be required after an Invitation to Apply depending on the applicant’s circumstances.
An eligible FSW candidate creates an Express Entry profile and enters the pool. IRCC assigns a Comprehensive Ranking System score and conducts invitation rounds, including program-specific or category-based rounds. Candidates who receive an Invitation to Apply can submit their permanent residence application within the applicable submission period.
The course is suitable for immigration consultants, visa professionals, recruitment specialists and caseworkers handling Canadian skilled immigration. It is particularly useful for understanding FSW eligibility, NOC matching, CRS assessment, profile creation, documentation and post-ITA procedures while providing accurate guidance without guaranteeing an invitation or permanent residence.
